Stronger together, Ink painting, 2025
Showcasing the extraordinary impact of peer-to-peer support and inviting you to engage with powerful stories and experiences of families who’ve been through tough times and come out the other side.
Through the participants’ shared experiences in innovative Family by Family programs that transform lives, these mixed-media works are personal, insightful and draw on the lived experiences of families who support each other through practices of radical care.
This exhibition was developed from research conducted as part of the Australian Research Council Linkage project Situating Care, and involved Adelaide University and Monash University, and was developed in partnership with Uniting Communities and The Australian Centre for Social Innovation.
These inspiring works were created in collaboration with Miranda Harris and Miranda Harris from The Art Bus and ceramic artist Mark Valenzuela.
