Discover the precision and elegance of Hitome-zashi (one-stitch Sashiko). Unlike traditional Sashiko patterns, this technique follows a grid to reveal intricate geometric patterns. In this workshop, participants will master the Kome-zashi (Rice Stitch) pattern—a design that resembles the Japanese kanji for rice (⽶).

About the instructor
Jun is an Adelaide-based Sashiko artist and instructor dedicated to the art of traditional Sashiko stitching. To ensure a genuine experience, Jun sources all workshop materials directly from Japan, utilizing Sashiko threads and fabrics of the highest quality. Through simple but meditative stitching, Jun helps participants find beauty in every stitch.
