Join contemporary textile artist Makeda Duong for a tour of her current exhibition I Am Uncomfortable, followed by a yarning circle to share stories and experiences.

Hear from the artist about her provocative practice, which explores aspects of her lived experience with perceptions of race, gender, sexuality and mental health.

Gain insights into the personal experiences behind the artworks, as well as Makeda’s exquisite textile techniques.

Bring along your own yarn project or start a new one in an afternoon yarning circle.
